Public
Allies New Mexico

The New Mexico Forum for Youth in Community, Public
Allies and the New Mexico Commission on Community
Volunteerism is pleased to announce a new and innovative
leadership initiative that seeks to build a strong cadre of
young adults, skilled to take on the leadership demands of
the 21st century and the challenges and opportunities
specific to the state of New Mexico.
Public Allies New Mexico
is a collaboration with local "Partner Organizations" to
develop and support diverse young leaders for our
communities. The New Mexico Forum for Youth in Community,
Forum Public Allies and our Partner Organizations share
responsibility for creating a quality experience for our
Public Allies New Mexico. We
seek community partners willing to commit to this process on
an annual basis.
Partner Organizations host Public Allies
New Mexico, young adults enrolled in the Forum
Public Allies program for a ten-month apprenticeship period.
Partner Organizations have missions that meet a variety of
community needs including youth development, community and
economic development, education, public health and safety,
civic participation and others.
