Advocacy Networks
Advocacy networks are designed specifically to create awareness around and champion causes related to a particular issue. Membership in the network is broadly defined, and designed around one or many of the complex issues that make up a particular issue-from policy and politics, awareness-building, information sharing, and networking around best practices to issues of quality, access and sustainability.

In the past five years, Forum-supported advocacy networks have been extremely valuable in helping to define the benefits of positive youth development programming in their respective spaces, as well as the need for greater accessibility, accountability and stronger policy to support positive youth development programs and practitioners. Annually, network membership is counted on to give valuable input into identifying best practices for implementation, informing the introduction of legislative changes and information within the spaces created by infrastructure network members to create and sustain critical partnerships necessary for sustained community change.
