The
mission of the EcoServants is to
improve the natural and human communities of our
region, by teaching skills, implementing projects,
and being a positive example for healthy community
development and environmental stewardship. We
provide young people and their adult partners with
volunteer community service opportunities, jobs,
skills training, education, and connections to their
community.
EcoServants is a new organization and are
using the National Association of Service and
Conservation Corps Excellence in Corps Operations
Standards as we build our infrastructure and
capacity. We believe that cross-sector collaboration
and youth voice are keys to our success, and we are
committed to the principles and practices of
positive youth development.
