The
Service Organization for Youth, Inc. (SOY) is a
community-based private non-profit that provides
children, youth, and family services in the
northeastern area of NM. SOY has been in existence
since 1983 and provides a variety of services
including Children’s Behavioral Health Services,
Mid-Level Family Preservation, Tobacco Use
Prevention and Control, and many others.
SOY has
formed a youth coalition involving three counties –
Colfax, Union, and Harding – and the youth groups in
each county are both peer leaders and peer
educators. SOY also established many local and
county coalitions, agencies, councils, and boards.
